This is the Aerocarene 700, a F rench concept car from 1947. The above photo is the concept sketch, and is beautiful. The actual concept car was...
...Less beautiful, b ut still interesting. It was powered by a R enault engine and the cockpit slid forward to let you in like a plane. Sadly, the company didn’t receive funding or approval, so the car never made it to produ ction. But it was a lovely concept car.
